
The majestic Cederberg mountains and nature reserve is situated approximately 200km from Cape Town.
The mountain range is named after the endangered Clanwilliam Ceder, a tree endemic to the area.
Well known for its wide open spaces, scenic beauty, dramatic rock formations and San rock art the
Cederberg wilderness area is popular amoung nature lovers and rock climbers. Due to clear skies
throughout most of the year the Cederberg offers phenomenal night skies. RIDE OUT AFRICA's Cederberg
