The Baviaanskloof (also known as “the Valley of Baboons”) lies approximately 120km west of Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape province.
Starting in the east at Komdomo, the narrow, steep road leads through the rugged beauty of the Grootrivier gorge on its winding path
through this pristine conservancy all the way to Willowmore in the west. A total distance of about 200km.
The Kloof offers an exciting riding experience through breathtaking mountainous terrain and rivercrossings.
Ancient rock art and game such as Kudu, Bushbuck, Red Hartebeest, Mountain Zebra, Black Rhino and the elusive
Cape Buffalo makes this eco-tour a unique wilderness experience.
